Why won't the structural calculations work for my project?
Not all combinations of roof material types and mounting systems have structural calculations in Easy PV since the calculations are based on information provided by MCS in MIS 3002 . 

 If you are unable to complete structural calculations in Easy PV you will need to consult a structural engineer.

Why are the weight loading calculations failing for my plain tile roof?
Weight loading calculations will often fail for plain tile roofs. This is because we use MCS default values for the tile density, and the value for plain tiles is much higher than other roof coverings. If you are finding your calculations are failing when you don't expect them to, you can get a tile from the exact roof and measure the kg/m 2 to replace this value: 

 

 If the calculations are still failing, you will then need to consult a structural engineer. 

Why has my schematic not updated after I changed some components in the project?
The Schematic does not automatically refresh after changes are made to the project. 

 If you've changed a component and you want this reflected in the schematic, you can either edit it manually using the components on the side or click Refresh to rebuild the schematic from the project components.
